We’re often asked about our name – what does “ABP” actually stand for?
When we founded the company, our focus wasn’t just on technology and processes – visibility also mattered. As a contract manufacturer, we wanted to rank at the top of directories and online searches. So it was clear: the name had to start with “A” and “B.” But we didn’t stop there.
ABP represents modern manufacturing, high quality, and intelligent processes. With highly trained staff and state-of-the-art machinery, we set industry benchmarks across Central Germany – and beyond.
We offer the entire process chain in sheet and tube processing – from precision cutting to CNC turning and milling, as well as punching, bending, welding, deburring, and surface preparation. As a system supplier, we manage projects from the first quote to the finished assembly – fast, flexible, and reliable.

But what’s actually behind the name ABP?
When founding our company, we asked ourselves many questions – including: how do you become visible? As a contract manufacturer, we wanted to appear at the top of industry directories and online platforms. The logic of alphabetical listings led us to the first two letters: A and B. But it wasn’t just about rankings – we also wanted a memorable identity.
The letters ABP had a good ring to them – but what do they mean?
For us, one thing was clear: our name had to mean more than just an abbreviation. It should reflect what we stand for – speed, flexibility, and reliability.

Hatem Drira
Responsible for sales, cost calculation, investment planning, and the areas of cutting and pre-processing.
Trainer for metal technology specialists and construction mechanics.
Specialist in laser machine programming and resource and material optimization.
Marcel Wendt
Responsible for sales, marketing, procurement, and work preparation.
Leads investment planning, design, and component optimization.
Expert in laser welding and responsible for quality management.
Founded in 2013 by Marcel Wendt and Hatem Drira. Since then, ABP has served over 2,300 customers and completed 55,000 orders.
Our Delivery Fleet
Our in-house delivery fleet ensures smooth transport – from small parts to large-scale production.
With two small transporters (up to 3.5 t), a 5-ton truck, and a lorry with optional trailer (payload up to 18 t), we operate flexibly and on schedule.
Whether in the region, within a 200 km radius, or across Germany: we deliver reliably and directly to you – without unnecessary stopovers or third-party freight services.
This saves time, conserves resources, and supports your planning process.
Efficient & digitized production
At ABP, digitalization isn’t a trend – it’s part of our daily operations.
Every one of our machines is digitally connected: screens and systems are directly synchronized with our central software, which in turn is linked to our ERP system.
Each order receives a QR code that tracks the entire production process – from incoming goods to final delivery.
This end-to-end digitalization allows us to respond flexibly to short-term changes, manage workflows efficiently, and eliminate unnecessary paperwork.
It saves time, reduces costs, and ensures maximum transparency – both internally and externally.
This way, we make sure that every part is in the right place at the right time – and our customers benefit from a smooth, modern manufacturing process.

Our modern machinery
Our modern machinery is the heart of our production and enables maximum precision and efficiency – from single parts to full-scale series production.
We rely on proven high-performance technology from TRUMPF, including several TruLaser 3030 machines (up to 12 kW) as well as the powerful TruLaser Tube 7000 for precise tube processing.
Our machine park is complemented by combination deburring units, CNC milling machines, lathes, and a wide range of vibratory finishing and deburring systems.
A particular highlight: our automated welding robot TruLaser Weld 5000, which ensures highly precise and time-efficient welds at the highest level.
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology in all areas – from flattening and straightening to tumbling – we deliver individual customer solutions quickly, reliably, and in top quality.
